    I cannot rave about the service and hospitality of this restaurant/bakery. This is a family owned establishment and I always love family owned businesses because they take extra care in their goods to ensure freshness and quality. I've been a customer of Gio's since they opened in Montrose and now at their second location in La Canada . The food is amazing and their baked goods are oh so fresh. Their croissants are flaky and buttery and I've literally tried all their muffins... so good. They make a cappuccino and latte just right! I love the little Parisian style seating, the vibe is really cafe Paris on the go.

    This was such a beautiful little spot I would definitely come back here This is one of those original spots where everything on the menu is probably good! I had 3 pastries Don't judge me please lol But yea I bought two pastries, and then the owner/manager came and offered a pastry saying it was her favorite! And let me tell you, if you want some of the most tasty pastries you can get in LA for a reasonable price - then this place is the spot! Their pastries will make your mouth water the moment you see them! When you bite into those pastries, it makes you wanna hug whoever cooked them! We got the Nutella croissant - yumm We got the strawberry cheese danish - solid And the "favorite" from the owner - the blueberry cheese danish - OMG!!!!!!!!!! Anyways, The almond milk hazelnut latte I got was perfectly balanced And the ambiance was nice They have a nice front patio that I am sure gets popular in the warmer weather Parking is okay, you'll probably have to pay and walk but it's so worth it Needless to say, the service here was warm and impeccable! Sure I got the free pastry but it was more than that! The first words I heard when I opened the door was "hello, welcome!" It was nothing but warm conversation and easy laughs with the entire staff from that moment on! This is one of those places you go to because the people are kind of It just so happens the food is great too! Anyways that's all for now B

    This is the cutest little bakery in the cutest little town that is Montrose! I was looking for a place to grab coffee before my hair appointment and I'm so glad I walked in here. Their pastry selection was great and they also have a pretty good breakfast menu (which I'll definitely try next time). I ordered the chocolate croissant and latte...the croissant was so flaky and had the perfect amount of chocolate! So yummy! The latte was the perfect combination with my croissant. Definitely coming back here for more!
